HTC is in dire need of something great and outstanding if it has to make a name for itself in the present smartphone market. Design and Display
HTC’s CEO revealed that the One M10 is going to be a little different from its predecessors. The company plans to make significant improvement over its innovation and design. We can’t even tell that the M10 will have the familiar HTC’s signature design but it will have an all-metal jacket, aluminum of course. The upcoming phone is built on rumors, but they are promising. The HTC One M9 apparently, will have a water-proof and dirt-proof design. That’s going to be a huge up for HTC.
HTC phones stand out in their builds. With its competitors going glass, metal and even leather finishes, HTC has always stuck to an all-metal construction, yet it is a phone to look at! It’s body is always sleek, slim and seamless. So, the HTC One M10 will have an all-metal body. HTC’s front facing boom sounds are there on the One M10 and this time with 5.1 surround sound, even more stronger and with more bass. 
The screen is rumored to be 6″ with LED 4K display. This is highly likely as even the One M9+ has QHD display, and with many of it’s competitors going QHD, the One M10 is bound to do it too. It is sure to make for a sharp and crisp color-play with premium quality visuals.
Camera
Camera in HTC phones have always been great. The introduction of Ultra-Pixels in camera was a good initiative, and since then, camera has never been an issue in HTC. The One M9, however, had a huge 20 MP camera but it somehow couldn’t deliver. This time, some Taiwanese forum leaks suggests that the One M10 will have a 23 MP rear shooter with greater aperture, better auto-focus and Optical Image Stabilization, while the specs of the front camera is unknown. Rest assured though, that the front camera will too see some improvements.
Software and Platform
As it is with most newer flagships, the HTC M10 is also going to be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, with it’s own custom HTC Sense 8.0 experience. The Android Marshmallow is great and all, but the HTC Sense UI is what makes HTC phones great. The HTC sense is all about speed, fluidity and slickness. It is simple, clean and fast which offers great user experience.
On the processor side, rumors has it that it will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. Though the One M9 suffered from some overheating problems (most of it due to Snapdragon 810), but the Snapdragon 820 should be good enough. Also, other rumors suggest that the HTC One M10 will have different processor variants: Snapdragon 820 in Europe and American continents, while having MediaTek SoC for South Asian countries. Combined with it’s 4 GB RAM, the phone is going to be blazing fast and super powerful, no doubt.
Battery and Memory
Next up on HTC One M10: All there is to know, let’s talk about the battery. The One M9’s battery was a let down and many complaints were heard about it. So, this time around, the HTC One M10 is rumored to have at least a 3000 mAh battery, if not 3500 mAh according to some other leaks / sources. With the new SoCs and OS supporting Quick Charge, the battery is not going to be an issue this time around.
The HTC One M10 is said to be available in 64 GB and 128 GB and as always, it will include a microSD card slot for expandable option. So, plenty of storage for anything you want to have in your phone!
Additional Features
New flagship phones are offering more and more features with their upcoming products. So, the HTC One M10 too isn’t going to back down. It is said that the One M10 will feature a front-loaded fingerprint scanner and a Heart Rate Monitor as well. The phone is even rumored to have a Retina scanner in the front camera. It will have the Quick Charge feature as supported by it’s SoCs and its OS. The 5.1 Surround sound front speakers will provide an amazing audio experience to it’s great display. So sure, this phone can be one of the best smartphones of 2016.
